RESORT / HOTEL

001.jpg

A mega-scale master plan developed on a vast 200,000-pyeong site in the Yerae area of Jeju, reinterpreting Jeju’s pristine natural heritage through contemporary architectural language and urban planning. Going beyond a conventional resort, it is a global cultural and tourism complex city that transforms the region’s originality into curated content, establishing it as a world-class landmark internationally acclaimed for both architectural excellence and commercial value.

JEJU AIREST CITY

4_View010000.jpg

This master plan reinterprets the historical context of the Hanyang City Wall by vertically integrating a “modern hanok hotel” with an open-air street mall, transforming a 15-meter topographical constraint into a dynamic architectural sequence. By reinventing the traditional enclosed duty-free model into an experiential cultural platform where shopping and culture flow seamlessly, the project repositioned the duty-free complex as a distinctive heritage landmark.

THE SHILLA HOTEL

THE MARKET WALK is a mixed-use residential and commercial platform that generates urban vitality through the synergy between housing and street-oriented retail. Reinterpreting Jeju’s traditional market culture as a contemporary open-street mall, the project plans 147 residential units positioned as a local community anchor for trendsetters and creators.

MARKET WALK

The signature maison of Jeju Airest City, THE COCOON is a high-end art residence inspired by the primal vitality of Jeju’s Gotjawal landscape, elevated through biomimetic architecture. Innovative non-linear spatial design dissolves the boundaries between interior and exterior, walls and ceilings, transforming the residence into a collectible private gallery beyond conventional living.

THE COCOON

THE-OBJET-02.jpg

THE OBJET is a monumental architectural sculpture that visualizes, through architectural language, the breathing rhythms of Gotjawal—Jeju’s “lungs”—and its subterranean Soomgol air passages. Going beyond residential function, the project adopts a “Sound Box” motif and a semi-open spatial composition, allowing wind, light, and the rhythms of nature to flow through the space as a multisensory healing environment.

THE OBJET

theforest_01_main.jpg

THE FOREST is a biophilic architectural project that reinterprets the primal vitality of Jeju’s Gotjawal through the geometric aesthetics of hexagonal modules. An organic spatial structure and panoramic ocean-view–oriented design deliver both an overwhelming sense of openness and deep communion with nature. In particular, a double-height foyer with gallery functions and sculptural terrace gardens elevate the project beyond conventional housing.

THE FOREST

THE OVAL is a high-end maison that embodies the life force of Gotjawal through a symbolic Oval Atrium, transforming the building itself into a grand frame that embraces nature. Organic circulation centered around the courtyard, sculptural staircases, and panoramic ocean views converge to offer a seamless spatial experience that dissolves the boundary between inside and outside.

THE OVAL

THE MOBIUS is an organic landmark that architecturally expresses infinite continuity, with roof, walls, and floors connected by a single uninterrupted line—realizing the essence of seamless design. Through a total design approach in which exterior curves extend into interior spaces, custom-built furniture and architecture are perfectly integrated into a dense, artistic environment.
