THE OVAL
2011
Jeju, South Korea
Overview
This high-end maison is designed as a monumental architectural frame that embraces nature, translating the vitality of Jeju’s Gotjawal forest into a symbolic Oval Atrium. Targeting VVIP clients who seek to own nature as part of their living environment, the project establishes a new standard of “Nature Luxury,” where complete relaxation and private social engagement coexist in perfect balance.
Urban & Architectural Concept
A nature-responsive design centers on the oval courtyard, drawing seasonal changes, natural light, and the atmosphere of the Gotjawal deep into the interior. Expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing and sculptural, flowing staircases merge with panoramic ocean views to dissolve the boundary between indoors and outdoors, creating a seamless spatial experience. Beyond openness, the architecture embodies a dramatic and organic aesthetic in which nature’s rhythm flows through the entire space.

Business Vision & Philosophy
The residence functions as a dual-lifestyle platform, clearly separating a private second-floor Master Zone from an entertaining terrace designed for outdoor social gatherings. This refined spatial composition satisfies both intimate retreat and social interaction, while its rare synthesis of contemporary luxury and raw nature elevates the property into a collectible trophy home, maximizing both lifestyle quality and long-term asset value.
