SK SKY VIEW
2008
Suwon, South Korea
Overview
This monumental Eco Lifestyle City comprises 3,498 residential units developed on a 50-hectare site in Jeongja-dong, Suwon. Conceived during the height of the 2008 global financial crisis, the project precisely targeted the evolving needs of Suwon’s younger generation. Breaking away from the conventional focus on large-scale units, the development prioritized practical 20–30 pyeong residences and Compact Penthouses, achieving an extraordinary 100% sell-out despite the severe market downturn—a landmark success under crisis conditions.
Urban & Architectural Concept
A true game changer in Korean residential culture, the project introduced and applied the innovative “Alpha Space” floor plan for the first time. With “Vitamin Cell Park” and “Anti-Aging” as the core master plan themes, an integrated Eco Structure was implemented across the entire complex. This holistic approach extended beyond landscaping to encompass façade design and individual units, embedding health, wellness, and healing values into every spatial layer—demonstrating the power of meticulous, concept-driven product planning.

Business Vision & Philosophy
Based on rigorous target analysis, the project employed a fully integrated product development system, ensuring consistency from model home construction to marketing strategy and brand execution. This approach proved overwhelming product competitiveness even during an extreme economic downturn, elevating the development beyond a conventional apartment complex. Today, it stands as a future-oriented wellness landmark that redefined residential standards in Suwon and established enduring, sustainable value.
